Manitoba Metis Federation Looking for Support to Nominate Kai Madsen for the Order of Manitoba
Petition created to support MMF efforts
Winnipeg, MB – Kai Madsen is well known in Winnipeg for his work with the Christmas Cheer Board. For almost 50 years he has been bringing Christmas joy to families throughout the city.
“Kai is a shining light in the community,” said MMF President David Chartrand. “His dedication to all the people of Winnipeg is a gift and he deserves to be formally recognized for his continued efforts over these past several decades.”
The MMF will formally submit a nomination in the new year. Right now it’s looking for signatures of support for the nomination.
“Kai’s genuine goodness and positivity reaches every corner of Winnipeg. I believe he is an exemplary nominee for the Order of Manitoba,” said President Chartrand.
To support the nomination members of the public can go the MMF website www.mmf.mb.ca and click on the petition button on the homepage. Signatures must be received before January 22, 2018 in order to complete the MMF’s nomination.
