The Manitoba Métis Federation's Energy, Infrastructure and Resource Management Department invites Red River Métis Citizens to join 'On the Ice' February 7th!

At this event, Citizens will learn about ice fishing, safety, and winter environmental monitoring, while showing off their ice fishing skills and competing to catch the biggest fish!

The event creates space for Citizens to share stories, knowledge, climate change observations, and traditional practices from across our National Homeland.

Join us for a full day of stories, learning, snowshoeing, and other fun activities! Please note spots are limited and Citizenship is required. Please contact our MELT program at melt@mmf.mb.ca for more information or to register.
