Update Two: Wildfire Donation Locations & Volunteer Opportunities

June 6, 2025

To all Red River Métis Citizens,

On behalf of the National Government of the Red River Métis, we want to thank all Citizens' willingness for their overwhelming outpouring of generosity, both in their time and in donations. Your efforts to volunteer time and donate essential supplies to those who have been impacted by the wildfires across Northern and Eastern Manitoba has made a massive difference.

Please note the below updated hours and days of operation, effective tomorrow Saturday, June 7:

  • 406 McGregor Street - Open 7 days a week, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • 770 Leila Avenue - Open 7 days a week, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • 25 Ray Marius Road - Open Monday to Friday only, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

New donation guidelines

Moving forward, we will only be accepting new clothing donations. This change aims to streamline our distribution process and ensure that evacuees receive clean, ready-to-wear items promptly and efficiently.
