Anyone who's attended an MMF event knows the unforgettable music of Al Desjarlais. On behalf of the Manitoba Métis Federation's Cabinet, staff, and Citizens, we share our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences with Al's family, friends, and community as we mourn the loss of this beloved Red River Métis musician. From producing The Beat Goes On, to his involvement in Elsie Bear's Kitchen, to countless live performances, Al's music and dedication have left a lasting mark on Red River Métis communities across our Homeland.
