Serving Tradition: Red River Métis Business Supports Wildfire Evacuees

Since May, the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) has teamed up with World Central Kitchen to provide fresh, nourishing meals for those impacted by wildfire evacuations at our 406 McGregor Street centre in Winnipeg. As part of this initiative, we connected with Anthony Faraci, owner of Faraci Foods and The Bannock Factory, to learn more about bannock, a traditional food that has sustained the Red River Métis for generations.
