Métis Veterans Legacy Program

• In 2019, Canada signed the Métis Veterans Recognition Payment Contribution Agreement to honour WWII Métis Veterans. The agreement provides all Métis Veterans with the support, honour, and recognition they have always deserved.
• The MMF entered a service delivery agreement with Métis National Council (MNC) to administer the Métis Veterans Legacy Program (MVLP). In 2022, the MMF entrusted this program to the RRMVD.
• The MVLP supports, honours and recognizes eligible Métis Veterans through the Recognition Program and the Commemoration Program.
