The Manitoba Métis Federation is inviting MMF Locals to apply for support to establish and maintain community gardens within their communities as part of the new Community Garden Initiative.

Community gardens are shared spaces where individuals come together to grow food, build relationships, and strengthen connections to land and culture.

The Community Garden Initiative will support MMF Locals in establishing and maintaining community gardens that increase access to nutritious, culturally relevant food while strengthening connections between Citizens, land, and community.

Applications for a community garden are being accepted until April 1st, 2027.
